I've always liked the idea of "folkish" sounding singers with electronic accompaniment. When an opportunity arose to remix "Roses" I viewed it as a great chance to test my production skills and put an entirely new twist on a song that has done incredibly well in its own right.
My take on "Roses" has a unique twist as it starts off upbeat and a quarter of the way through takes a halftime chillwave vibe with live instrumentation and many switch ups.
